The NIAAA Certification Program is a voluntary professional service to athletic administrators and is based on the premises of continuing education, professional growth and program development in the vocation of interscholastic athletic administration. It recognizes and incorporates the professional development opportunities provided by the Leadership Training Institute. The attainment of professional certification demonstrates the completion of a comprehensive plan for self-improvement that will enhance the ability of the athletic administrator to better serve the school, community and profession.
** The Master of Science in Special Education fulfills licensing requirements in the State of North Dakota and North Dakota is part of the National Association of Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) Interstate agreement. If you plan to seek licensure in your state of residence, it is your responsibility to contact your state’s licensure board to determine if this program will meet their requirements. A listing of licensing agencies by state can be found on the NASDTEC web site . The Special Education department can work with students on an individual basis to fulfill licensing requirements. This information is provided in compliance with the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement.
